"I was blown away by this salon. We did our bridal party's hair and makeup here this past weekend and it was even better than I ever could have imagined. My sister and I worked with Amanda, who is perhaps the sweetest, nicest, most laid-back stylist, and also SO good! She was so great with make-up, listening to what we wanted, and changing things up if we had a request. She's so knowledgeable and put us at ease from the first moment. Our hair was also amazing (if I do say so myself) - she did such a great job (and fairly quickly, given a time crunch). Natalie also helped out with my mom and sister in law and was very sweet and great with them. The salon itself is great! They had coffee, tea, water, and sweets sitting around in the front room, which was great for a crew who had to spend a few hours there. Other people who came seemed like regulars and long-time, happy clients, so it's clearly a win with the locals. Also, organizing everything with Lauren was so easy (despite a LOT of changes to our itinerary/plans) - Lauren really made it all happen, and always making it seem like her pleasure. I'd highly recommend this salon (and Amanda in particular) to anyone around."

"The staff at L'eau de Vie Salon/Spa are absolutely incredible! Planning a destination wedding can be challenging for a bride, but Lauren at the front desk made everything so incredibly easy! She was so kind and always flexible about updating schedules. I never felt as though I was in the dark about anything because she did a wonderful job explaining every little detail. My stylist, Devon, was beyond exceptional. She was SO patient with me as I changed my mind several times about my hairstyle for the big day. Devon was a perfectionist and made me feel stunning! The other stylists who worked with my Mom and bridesmaids were so sweet and did a phenomenal job with all of my girls hair. "L'eau de Vie was WONDERFUL. They opened up on Sunday for our bridal party (normally they're closed), and they were so great as we were coming in and out, running around and getting ready. They have a couple of rooms that they allowed us to use for changing, which was much-needed as some of the groomsmen were coming and going as well. Devon did my hair and makeup, and she did an AMAZING, absolutely INCREDIBLE job. "I contacted L'eau De Vie a month or two prior to my bridal pictures. I knew I was going to have them taken in downtown Asheville, so I wanted somewhere that I could park my car and also have a area that I could get dressed in. I searched Google for salons in downtown Asheville, and this was one of the first ones that popped up. I contacted a few around the area and got a price range and if they would be open on Sunday or have someone come in a do my hair since my photos were Sunday evening. I got a quote from here and a quote from another place, and only difference was 10.00. I was originally going to do my make up but decided the night before I wished I had set up a time for my make up to be done to. Prior to me arriving, Lyndsay called me and told me a few things that I needed to know and to call her when I parked my car. We were the only people in the salon which worked out great bc I wanted to get dressed there as well and she got what I wanted with my hair and makeup without even trying too hard.She had already planned on doing my make up which made me so happy to hear. My make up turned out wonderful (I am now considering getting her to do my makeup for my wedding day). I was very undecided on what I wanted, just very light natural makeup which she rocked doing, and a "messy" up do for my hair. Loved the way my hair looked and other than a few bobby pins jumping out, it stayed up during the shoot, through dinner and the drive back to Charlotte (2.15 hr drive) that night. She also was willing to help me in my dress and fix my hair once I got in my wedding dress.It was such a awesome experience. :)I would highly recommend her and this salon!!!!!!!"

"I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Anjuli and the other staff at L'Eau De Vie. I'm not from Asheville so I did some searching around to find a place to have my hair and make up done for my wedding in Asheville. I chose the salon because it had great reviews and it is in a convenient location downtown. From the beginning, the salon was so great to deal with in setting up appointments for my bridesmaids and family. They were so easy, stress free and organized. I did do a trial run (which I recommend to anyone anywhere) to work out any of the details so you don't have to the day of your wedding. I mentioned a few tweaks from the trial and she nailed it for my final! The makeup looked beautiful and somehow lasted all night! I will definitely be back to the salon for a massage!"
